Frabel Glass Art Studio and Gallery
Founded in 1968 by glassblower Hans Godo Frabel, this studio is home to some of the top glass art in the world. In fact, Frabel is widely recgonized as the artist who helped the medium gain acceptance in the art world. His glass sculptures, made from boron crystal, have been collected by individuals, museums and corporations and was shown in 2007 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. One of Frabel’s most recognized pieces is his dripping faucet, called “In the Middle of the Night,” which is part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian Institution.
